Terms of Service
These terms govern use of KeigoLens, an AI keigo conversion service operated by Kitta AI. By using the service, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy.
Effective: 2026-08-09 · Version: 1.0
1. The service
KeigoLens converts submitted Japanese text into keigo and provides explanations and cautions. The current free service accepts up to 1,000 characters per request and up to 10 anonymous conversions per day. Features and limits may change as the service evolves.
2. Your responsibilities
- Provide information you have the right to use.
- Do not infringe rights, evade safeguards, disrupt infrastructure, or misuse the service.
- Protect your account credentials and review outputs before relying on them.
3. AI and generated results
AI output may be unnatural, incomplete, or inappropriate for a particular relationship, industry, or context. Review important emails, contracts, legal notices, and employment communications before sending. KeigoLens does not replace legal, HR, or professional language review.
4. Payments and refunds
KeigoLens is currently provided free of charge and does not process payments, subscriptions, or automatic renewals. Before any paid feature launches, its price, benefits, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be disclosed and these terms will be updated.
5. Content and intellectual property
You retain rights you hold in submitted text and grant only the limited permission needed to perform the requested conversion. Do not submit text that violates third-party rights or confidentiality duties. KeigoLens software, branding, copy, and design belong to the operator or their respective rights holders.
6. Availability and liability
The service may be changed or interrupted for maintenance, failures, or upstream AI availability. To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect or incidental loss arising from use of generated results or service interruption. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
7. Suspension, updates, and contact
Access may be limited for abuse, excessive automation, security risk, or unlawful use. Changes are identified by the effective date and version. Questions may be sent through the contact page.
